Fundraisers Redux

last week you were for
sick kids’ hospital but now
your shirt colour’s changed

blue for the children
now yellow for amnesty
international

clipboards unchanging
ambushing pedestrians
your scam fools no-one

Appropriate Clothing (a two stanza experience)

baby doll type shirts
are for babies and for dolls
you’re clearly neither

hooker at the bar,
your dress is for three a.m.
but it’s three p.m.

Motorcycles

your exhaust is loud.
you are compensating for
something obvious

squealing tires makes you
look dumb screeching to a halt
at the next stop sign

my lyrics are bottomless

p.s. I have been noticing a few errors when loading pages (and I know at least one other person has seen them, too).  If you get one, please toss me an email at adam (dot) sandiford (at) gmail (dot) com or throw me a message on msn (same as that email) or tweet me @dysleeper or AIM me dysleeper and then I can maybe do something about it or at least we can have a nice chat.
